WIWSA provides a 2-year scholarship each year to the water service Apprenticeship Program offered by Evergreen Rural Water of Washington (ERWOW) covering that program’s tuition expenses.
The scholarship is awarded in July to an applicant from Whidbey Island who agrees to continue to serve in local water service after graduation from the program. To apply, an applicant must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED and be currently employed and sponsored by a local water system or water service company.
