Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Wednesday November 6th starting at 7:45 AM
in the Sunset Point Fire Station
in Friday Harbor, WA.

This program is designed to provide a basic understanding of emergency preparedness and the response of water utilities in the event of an emergency or disaster. Assessing risks, planning, and preparedness will lead to utilities that function better in emergencies, work more efficiently to restore service to customers, and are better able to maintain water quality. Topics will include:
- Water Utility Emergencies
- Emergency Case Studies
- Emergency Action Plan
- Risk & Resilience
- Incident Command System
- Public Outreach During Emergencies
- Business & Operational Continuity
- Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network (WARNs)
- Tabletop & Field Exercises, and Other Training
- Personal Preparedness
- Facility Physical Security
- Cyber Security
Instructors will be:

- Jeff Lundt, KCWTD
0.7 CEUs Approved, water & wastewater
Cost is $80 for AWWA, WEF, or PNCWA members and $105 for non-members. $25 surcharge after Thursday October 25th.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
