at the offices of Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in Lynnwood, WA.
This program is designed for new utility front-line employees, office staff or others that want a preview or review of the basics of a water utility, the terminology, regulations, processes and goals. Topics will include:
Overview of Water systems
Regulations & Contaminants
Water Sources
Hydrology & Hydraulics
Treatment & Disinfection
Water Quality Monitoring
Water Quality Protection Practices
Construction & Maintenance
Disaster Response

Cost is $80 for AWWA, WEF or PNCWA members and $105 for non-members. $25 surcharge after September 12th.
