Details: Small water systems throughout the country have volunteer board members governing their public water system. According to the Fair Political Practices Board and the State Attorney General, in California all new and existing board members are required to attend two hours of an ethics training once every two years. This workshop meets the legal requirements for board members’ ethics training under AB1234. Cost: Free, with priority given to smaller water systems. Qualifies for two contact hours. In order to receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered and complete an online survey at the end of the training. IMPORTANT: Failure to attend three online workshops for which you reserved a seat (and did not cancel) in any six-month period will disqualify you from attending online workshops in the following six-month period. PLEASE CANCEL A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE TO ALLOW OTHERS TO ATTEND THE TRAINING. | |||||
